The 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata is available in 5 different models:

• 2006 Mazda Miata Club Spec- starting MSRP is $20,995

• 2006 Mazda Miata MX-5- starting MSRP is $21,995

• 2006 Mazda Miata Touring- starting MSRP is $22,995

• 2006 Mazda Miata Sport- starting MSRP is $23,495

• 2006 Mazda Miata Grand Touring- starting MSRP is $24,995

All models come standard with a 2.0 liter DOHC 16-Valve 4-cylinder engine with variable valve timing. This engine has a peak horsepower 170 SAE net at 6,700 rpm, and a peak torque of 140 lb-ft. @ 5,000 rpm. In terms of fuel economy, the Club Spec, MX5, and Touring models are rated as 25/30 mpg with the manual transmission option (the Club Spec and MX-5 are not available in automatic transmission). The Mazda Miata Sport and Grand Touring are rated at 24/30 mpg for the manual transmission option. In terms of automatic transmission, the Touring, Sport and Grand Touring are rated at 22/30 mpg.
