The 2006 Mazda3 (Mazda-3)
Available in either the 4-Door or the 5-Door. The 2006 4-Door is available in either the i models (150 horsepower engine with an engine displacement of 2 liters i.e. a 2L engine) or the s model (160 horsepower engine with a 2.3 liter engine displacement). The 2006 Mazda Mazda3 4-Door i models include Base and Touring (MSRPs are $15,150 and $16,550 respectively). The 4-Door s models include the Base, Touring and Grand Touring (MSRPS are $17,440, $18,175, and $19,725 respectively). The 5-Door is available in only s models: Base, Touring, and Grand Touring (MSRPS are $17,930, $18,175, and $19,725 respectively). One of the differences between the 4-Door and 5-Door s models is that the latter has 17-inch alloy wheels (vs. 16-inch).
The Mazda5 is available in the 2 versions: Mazda5 Sport and Mazda5 Touring. Both come with a 2.3L engine that delivers a horsepower of 157, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The starting MSRP on the Sport is $17,995, and $19,510 on the Touring. The fuel economy on either is 22/27 mpg on the MT and 21/26 mpg on the AT (city/highway; mpg= miles per gallon; MT= manual transmission; AT= automatic transmission)
The 2006 Mazda6 (Mazda-6)
The Mazda Mazda6 comes in 4 distinct styles: Sports Sedan, 5-Door, Sports Wagon and the MAZDASPEED6. The Sports Sedan and 5-Door models are available in s and i models, the Sports Wagon is available in only s models, and neither of the MAZDASPEED6 models are classified as either i or s. All s model cars come with a 215 Horsepower 3.0L engine, and the i models with a 160 horsepower 2.3L engine.
Mazda6 Sports Sedan

MAZDASPEED6 (Mazda Speed-6)
2.3L 274 Horsepower engine. Available in Sport ($28,55) and Grand Touring ($30,485).
Available in Club Spec, MX-5, Touring, Sport and Grand Touring. Starting MSRPs are $20,995, $21,995, $22,995, $23,495 and $24,995 respectively. All 2006 Mazda Miata models come with a 2.0L 170 Horsepower engine, that delivers a torque of 140 lb.-ft @ 5,000 rpm. The EPA mileage of the MT versions of the Club Spec, MX-5 and Touring is 25/30, and 24/30 on the Sport and Grand Touring. The EPA mileage on the AT versions of the Touring, Sport and Grand Touring (Club Spec and MX-5 are not available in AT) is 23/30.
